Answers to common questions about working with me

How do you charge?

We charge an initial fee based on the advice you’re given and the implementation of this advice, typically a percentage fee of any assets being invested. However, I don’t wish for someone to feel that they can’t access high quality financial planning due to being early on in their life and therefore not having accumulated significant assets. Therefore, I also offer a fixed fee service, enabling you to receive a bespoke financial plan no matter your current level of wealth.

Should we decide to commence an ongoing relationship, our typical ongoing annual planning fee is 1% of assets under management.

All three options! Whilst I prefer for you to come and see our lovely offices, I am happy to conduct a meeting in accordance with your preferences.

Absolutely! Until we know that I’m able to help and that we work well together, there is no obligation to proceed whatsoever.

Whilst you do not need to bring anything, it is always helpful if you have paperwork for any existing insurance, investment or pension policies you hold.

I may be biased, but without doubt! There are many benefits to utilising the services of a financial planner, such as peace of mind, behavioural coaching, and helping you articulate what you truly want out of life.

But don’t just take my word for it, studies have shown this too. For example, the International Longevity Centre studied Brits who took financial advice between 2001 and 2006, and found that on average their assets increased by £48,000 more after ten years than those who took no advice.

Furthermore, Vanguard conducted research finding that through the various actions taken by advisers, net returns could be boosted by as much as 3% per year.
